The Perkin Warbeck – refered to often as just “The Perkin”, is situated in the centre of Taunton, Somerset. The pub belongs to JD Wetherspoon and is a Lloyds #1 branded pub. The Lloyds branded pubs have music on the weekends. We have a DJ with dancing on a Thursday till 1am, Friday till 2am and Saturday till 3am. Check out “Whats On“. The Perkin is named after the man who claimed to be the rightful heir to the throne of England and, in 1497, entered Taunton with an army of 8,000. Perkin Warbeck was cross-examined by King Henry VII in Taunton Castle and eventually executed.
